We view the mission of the clinic for anesthesiology, postoperative intensive care and pain therapy in patient care before, during and immediately after an operation. This helps enable our operating team to focus on surgical care. Our team consists of 13 doctors and 15 nurses. We perform 4000 anesthesiology procedures annually in the surgical and gynecological departments. We offer every type of general and regional anesthesiological approach based upon the nature of the operation and, where possible, according to the wishes of the patient.

Our perioperative intensive care unit cares for patients who were recently operated on 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. We also accept patients in need of intensive care from surrounding hospitals.

Obstetric analgesia including 200 epidural procedures annually is also a part of our services.

Our perioperative pain team is available to patients 24 hours per day.

The only intensive care transport unit in Frankfurt is organized and serviced by our medical doctors and paramedics.
