The presentation of the health insurance card greatly facilitates the admission process to the hospital. That is why it is important to have it with you and present it on the day of admission.


What does the patient need for the clinic?

Privately insured patients
Outpatient	An appointment in the appropriate medical department Results of previous examinations, if available (e.g. x-rays, laboratory results, etc.) Health insurance card

State insured patients

Inpatient	An admission appointment A referral slip (addressed to the chief physician of the department by name) with admission diagnosis Results of previous examinations (e.g. x-rays, EKG, laboratory results, etc.) Something to read or articles for personal comfort and cheer

What does the patient not need in the clinic?

Valuables!
You will not always be in your room due to your treatment schedule, and theft unfortunately also can occur in our hospital. Therefore we would like to urgently ask that you not bring any items of value into the hospital. We regret that our insurance does not cover the eventuality of a theft.
